One of the most important states in Mexico, both by the richness and fertility of their lands, and for its historical significance. It is located in central-western Mexico. It borders the states of Durango and Nayarit to the northwest, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes and San Luis Potosí to the north, Guanajuato to the east and Colima and Michoacán to the south. To the west, Jalisco has a significant coastline on the Pacific Ocean. Jalisco is the fourth most populated federal entity in Mexico and one of the more developed states in the country in terms of economic, commercial and cultural. |
